Posted January 28, 2012

Indianapolis – The Marion County Republican Party hosted its 2012 slating convention this morning at Ben Davis High School. Marion County Republican Chairman Kyle Walker presided over today’s convention that drew over 500 attendees, including 415 eligible voting Party officers. “The incredible turnout of hundreds of enthusiastic Republicans today is just more evidence that the Marion County Republican organization is strong and motivated to help deliver more victories this year,” said Walker. Mayor Greg Ballard gave opening remarks and thanked Republican City-County Councilors and the Party organization for their efforts that helped lead to his re-election in November.

The Republican Party organization slated candidates for state senate, state representative, county coroner, county treasurer, county surveyor and ten Marion County Superior Court positions.
