JOE "SKIP" Rink 

Joe "Skip" Rink, a longtime public servant and member of the Marion County Republican Party, passed away Monday. Skip served the party as Precinct Committeeman in the Camby area of Decatur Township. He served the City of Indianapolis and Marion County as a member of the IndyGo Board, Cable Franchise Board, and Board of Zoning Appeals. Please keep Skip's family in your thoughts and prayers.

Calling hours will be held today (Wednesday, July 9) from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Jones Crossing Banquet and Event Center, 4161 East Allison Road. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 10, at 10:00am at Camby Community Church, 8604 Camby Road.

Joe Morgan "Skip" Rink 61, Camby, IN, passed away Monday, July 7 at Bloomington Hospital. He was born June 11, 1947 to Mary Ellen (Rand) and Joe Donald Rink. On August 21 1981, he married Beverly (Ross) Rink, of Camby. He was a 1965 Decatur Central Graduate and attended Indiana State University. He also attended Camby Community Church. For the past 30 years, he was a Decatur Township Republican Precinct Committeeman. He was very active in the Decatur Township Republican party. Formerly appointed by the City- County Council, he was a board member of IndyGo Board in Indianapolis, the Marion County Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Cable Franchise Board. For the past 15 years, he was in sales for ICI Paint in Indianapolis. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Ross) Rink of Camby; two daughters, Ami Sciscoe of Camby and Jenni Huter of Temecula, CA; five grandchildren; mother, Mary Ellen Rink of Camby; sister, Jeanne Bain of Camby; three brothers, Dr. Lawrence D. Rink of Bloomington, Stephen C. Rink of Camby, and Dr. Richard C. Rink of Zionsville. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday July 10 at Camby Community Church, Camby, IN with Charles Paxton officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 9 at Jones Crossing Banquet and Event Center.
