Raised in Brookville, Indiana in the southeast corner of our great state, Aaron and his wife Heather chose to settle in Indianapolis after Aaron completed law school. When looking for a place to begin their married life together and start a family, Heather and Aaron chose Franklin Township. The Freemans have called Franklin Township home since moving to Indianapolis, and are the proud parents of their eleven month old son, Jack. Aaron has a profound desire for public service that began at age nineteen when he became a volunteer emergency medical technician and was employed as an emergency 911 dispatcher in Franklin County, Indiana. This desire has continued on today. Aaron and his wife have worked hard for many Republican candidates during the 2006 and 2008 elections, knocking on doors and making phone calls. Aaron is the current President of the Franklin Township Republican Club which has seen increased attendance and energy under his leadership. Aaron is an elected precinct committeeman in Franklin Township 4, and have been a ward chairman for nearly two years. Aaron began his professional career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. For five years Aaron had the privilege of prosecuting all levels of crimes from misdemeanors to major felonies and murder. Aaron also worked in the Grand Jury Division investigating corruption. During his time as a prosecutor Aaron learned what it truly means to be a public servant. For three years, Aaron has been in private practice, currently owning his own law firm, the Freeman Law Office, LLC. This opportunity has allowed Aaron to expand his practice of law to a number of different areas, and Aaron has grown to appreciate the daily challenges of operating a small business. Aaron knows how decisions made at the city level can impact small businesses and individuals. |
