Ginny is a 4th generation Indianapolis resident, having grown up in Washington Township. She graduated from Northwestern University and received her JD from Indiana University of Law, Indy. Ginny is married with two children, who regularly attend Walnut Grove Chapel. She serves as a board member for Wheeler Mission Ministries, Heartland: Truly Moving Pictures, Indiana Right to Life and the Homestove Company.

She has an impressive record of public service, serving formerly as a constituent services staffer for U.S. Senators Lugar and Coats, Assistant State Director for U.S. Senator Dan Coats, and currently serves as the Central Indiana Regional Director for U.S. Senator Dan Coats.

Ginny is currently serving her second term on the City-County Council and looks forward to building on her accomplishments thus far:
*Authored ordinance that now requires background checks on all new employees and appointees of the City/County government.
*Succeeded in establishing Geist Park walking trail.
*Chaired the new Ethics Committee and oversaw the formulation of ethics rules for the Council.
*Chaired the committee investigating alleged ethics violations of Councillor Monroe Gray.
*Advocated for The Preserve neighborhood’s lift stations to be deeded to the City.
*Serving as Chair of the Public Works Committee; member of Ethics and Metropolitan Development Committees.
*Serving on the Boards of Wheeler Mission Ministries, Heartland: Truly Moving Pictures, Indiana Right to Life, The Homestove Company.
