A recipient of the 2010 “Mayor’s Community Service Award”, Jeff will make an excellent city councilor. For the past 11 years, he has tirelessly worked on neighborhood and community issues around Indianapolis. He has served on the board of the Fletcher Place Neighborhood Association, most recently as President. He has also served on the Southeast Neighborhood Development board for the past four years, receiving the “Board Member of the Year Award” in 2008. Collaborating with Great Indy Neighborhoods, IUPUI, and the Department of Public Works, Jeff helped develop an infrastructure assessment tool which has been used to assess more than 1,600 blocks, allowing greater advocacy for repairs.

Jeff recently held a leadership summit with the presidents of 11 of the associations in District 19 and is seen as proactive in addressing the key issues that impact residents, especially in the areas of infrastructure, abandoned housing, crime, absentee landlords, and beautification. Jeff has been happily married for 10 years to his wife Carolyn and has a wonderful 4 ½ your old son Gabriel.
