As a life long Indianapolis resident and a thirty-two year resident of Pike Township, Susan has witnessed many changes to the township and county. Susan and her husband are the proud parents of three children. Having voluntarily served the community in one capacity or another for twenty-eight years, Susan brings a strong commitment to community service. For the past ten years she has served as President of the Pike Township Residents Association (PTRA). In that role she has had the opportunity to serve the citizens of Pike Township by coordinating and directing residents to city services and assisting with neighborhood concerns.

Under the previous administration, Susan participated in a Regional Transportation Study, traveling to three cities studying different modes of mass transportation. She recently served on the Public Safety Personnel Diversity Task Force commissioned by Mayor Ballard. In addition to serving on the PTRA, Susan serves on the Office of Code Enforcement Board under Mayor Ballard. Having educated herself on zoning and code compliance she is well suited for this appointment. Susan’s community service awards include: City-County Council 2004 Pike Township Woman of the Year and 2010 Mayor’s Community Service Award.

If elected Councillor for District 1 Susan will take office ready and qualified to serve the residents of District 1 and Marion County.
